If so, then the problem is that this pre-release version of Moselle is still a CPU hog. Even if you don't see the CPU at 100%, the program may not be delivering data fast enough to the computer.
As a workaround, you can make the sampling speed lower and the buffers bigger. The first shouldn't be TOO audible if you change it from 40000 Hz (default) to 22050, for instance. (Only kids can hear that top octave of sound that well anyway!) Bigger buffers will make the keyboard respond more slowly to keys and MIDI, but also may not be too noticeable.
In C:\Moselle\config right-click on Interpreter.moselle and select "Open With..." You should see "Word Pad." If not, you should be able to select WordPad from "other programs." Change FreqEval to 22050 and save the file. Restart Moselle and see if the problem you report is fixed. If not, edit the same file again, and change OutputBufferSamples to 1024, save the file, and restart Moselle again. If it seems much better but still not perfect, try 1536 or 2048 there. (At that point it will not be responding to the keyboard very quickly though.)Statistics: Posted by forum — Tue Jun 28, 2016 2:47 pm
