The IDE (Integrated Development Environment) is not accessible from DAWs (Digital Audio Workstation software) but instead is "stand-alone." This means you need no other software in your computer to use it. It may be used both for live performance, and to study and write patches and packages (user-created modules).

Changes since Alpha 4 are too many to list but include:

-- performance and polyphony is 2-4x higher

-- several new module types, such as Moog-like filters

-- now fully supports packages (user-created modules)

-- now fully supports sub-patches (allowing use of entire patches within other patches)

-- user interface is more polished
